BioSpherix, the leader in modular, aseptic enclosures for cell and gene research, is excited to offer the first Biotech Bootcamp this summer 2026.

This 4.5 day, hands-on workshop will provide educators with a unique opportunity to gain practical skills in cell culture, cell quality control, and cell expansion using the BioSpherix Xvivo System®.

The Biotech Bootcamp is offered at BioSpherix’s Center for Cytocentric® Technology (CCT), based in Winston-Salem, NC, adjacent to the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine.

The agenda for the 4.5 day course is:

Cohort Dates and Location:

• Cohort 1: 16 students, July 6–10, Winston-Salem, North Carolina
• Cohort 2: 16 students, July 27–31, Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Cost: $1,250 per student, including all supplies and materials. Disposable lab coats and other necessary personal protective wear (PPW) will be provided. Students are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and meals. Hotel recommendations are available upon request.

Important Notes:

• Considerable walking is required between the BioSpherix Center for Cytocentric Technology, WFIRM Test Bed, and other locations. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Please contact us if you require special travel accommodations.
• Closed-toe shoes and long pants should be worn in the laboratory at all times. Long hair should be tied back and jewelry should be minimal.
