ProOxC


Oxygen is an important aspect of the environment for cells in vitro. It affects the differentiation and proliferation of cells as well as the expression of many genes or regulators.

Until now there was no system that provides you with efficient and definitive oxygen control. If your research calls for a single oxygen level other than ambient, such as 1% (hypoxia) or 23% (hyperoxia), there was no easy system for you to use.

The ProOxC System is the only system that provides cell culture research with full range oxygen control efficiently and definitively. ProOxC is a single-setpoint, single-chamber system for controlling any oxygen concentration. You choose the setpoint, and in minutes your cells see only that oxygen level until you change it.

ProOxC has various options depending on you needs. It will be configured to fit your needs and can be upgraded at any time. Our OxC System adapts as your needs change. There is no other alternative for your oxygen research. Whether you are just starting oxygen sensitive research or are a veteran, we will build a system to fit your needs.

The ProOxC system is the most efficient, definitive and flexible system for single-setpoint oxygen cell culture research. It is the starting point of our OxC System with various upgrades and options available.

This system includes the ProOx controller and C-Chamber. The C-Chamber fits inside any incubator you currently have and the ProOx controls oxygen within the C-Chamber from outside the incubator. Sensor and infusion tubing runs from the ProOx through an access port in the incubator to the C-Chamber.

The ProOx is definitive and precise because it works by feedback control. As soon as the oxygen level is disrupted, the sensor in the C-Chamber catches the change and the controller immediately reacts to bring the concentration back to setpoint. Regardless of chamber leaks, oxygen consumption or generation within the chamber, the controllers efficiently keep the chamber at setpoint.

C-Chambers sit inside the host incubator and serve as an efficient atmosphere for your cultures. The chambers come in several sizes to maximize efficiency. Using the smallest chamber needed is the best option because you consume less gas, use less space in host incubator and the chamber reaches the setpoint faster.

The ProOxC System has various options depending on your needs. C-Chambers come in four standard sizes. Custom sizes are available upon request.

The controllers have various upgrades and options including dissolved oxygen monitoring and control. You will always know what level of oxygen your cells are seeing.

If you are worried about contamination in the C-Chamber, there is a Filter Gas Monitoring pod option. It includes a pod that attaches to the C-Chamber. The sensors are contained within the pod and the gas is circulated through the pod and filtered to keep the sensors from becoming contaminated.

The ProOxC system can also control CO2 with our ProCO2 controller. The incubator you store your C-Chamber in does not control CO2 within the C-Chamber. A separate controller is needed if you need to keep CO2 at a certain level.

The ProOxC system is compact and flexible. Multiple systems are a useful tool for culturing multiple chambers at different oxygen concentrations simultaneously.

Most incubators can hold a few of our C-Chambers. The ProOx is very small and takes up very little lab space.

Each ProOx controls one C-Chamber within the incubator. Each ProOx is set to a different oxygen concentration. This allows you to have one control and three experimental atmospheres for your cultures.

Multiple systems also allows you to change the atmosphere of your cultures by moving them from one chamber to the next.
