- Full Range Control: 0.1-99.9%
- Efficient and Fast Control
- Works in any Chamber, Glovebox, Incubator, etc.
- Restores Hypoxic/Hyperoxic Levels Quickly After Disturbances
- Takes Up Little lab Space
The ProOx is the most efficient and effective way to control single-setpoint oxygen in chambers, incubators, gloveboxes and any other semi-sealable enclosure. With full range control, 0.1% to 99.9%, you have more flexibility! It lowers your costs on gas by making gas consumption more efficient.
The ProOx knows exactly how much gas it needs to infuse to bring it to your setpoint. It works on a feedback system from an oxygen sensor within the chamber. When disruptions in the oxygen level occur, the ProOx senses the change and gas is infused into the chamber until it reaches setpoint. No gas is ever wasted!
The ProOx is compact enough to fit in your hand and all controls are located on the front of the ProOx and all tubing runs from the back.
The ProOx handles any job where you need to restore and maintain any oxygen level.
How it works:
The ProOx works by closed-loop control and is connected to a sensor, which monitors the oxygen concentration within the host chamber. When the oxygen level is disrupted, the ProOx quickly infuses nitrogen (hypoxia) or oxygen (hyperoxia) until the chamber reaches setpoint again.
The ProOx controls oxygen by forced displacement of gas inside the chamber with either oxygen or a control gas (nitrogen). Pressure inside the chamber is always the same as the pressure outside the chamber because it works in semi-sealed chambers.
For easy calibration check, just pull sensor out of chamber and check against room air (21%). Double check if necessary against control gas (0% or 100%) with the handy bleed on the front panel. No third party oxygen analyzers are needed!
Any gas supply can be utilized by the ProOx, but depending on consumption some supplies may be more efficient. Compressed gas is the most effective for low usage, generator is best in high consumptions and liquid is best in between.
Installation:
To install the ProOx, simply insert the nozzle of the infusion tube and the sensor into the access port of an incubator, adapter of our C- or A-Chambers, or any other passageway into the host chamber. Plug the opposite ends of sensor cable and infusion tubing into the ProOx, plug in the power cord and hook up the nitrogen or oxygen cylinder. Calibrate the sensor, choose your setpoint and go!
